Methonal Backup Power System

The standby power uses methanol as a fuel. The system includes a fuel reformer that converts HydroPlus (methanol-water liquid fuel) into hydrogen gas to power the fuel cell system.

The system is ideal in telecommunications with unstable grid where equipment must be protected from power outages and business continuity demands reliable backup power.



Two working modes: One is fixed installation in place of uninterrupted power supply requirements, including hospitals, data centers, etc; The other is installed on heavy vehicles, ready to move to where power is needed.

Fuel Cell Bus

The bus uses a sixth-generation hydrogen fuel cell power module as the energy source. Hydrogen from the cylinder which is located in the top of the bus is transferred to the fuel cell module in the back of the bus.
